A peek at one of the installations in Kiasma, Helsinki Museum of Contemporary Art.
Porsgrunn is in no way a remarkable town, but the geographical location makes for a few interesting phenomena. When the weather goes from cold to warm the river releases steam which stays around in the valley.
Cold and damp days are not particularly pleasant, but every once in a while the visual aesthetics make up for it.
Kroa i Bø has an open mike night every month. This time I was the designated photographer and the resulting set is on Flickr right here.
This time it also was a real spectacle with some.. well, let’s give those two guys on the right there the benefit of the doubt and say performance art. Good, clean fun all round.
There has been a fair bit of snow this winter. This is some of it.
Had a fairly crappy photowalk with Jostein a little while ago. None of us felt inspired at all and felt that we got nothing out of the trip except for cold feet and runny noses.
I do however force myself to look at and process pictures in Lightroom even if I feel they did not turn out well. After a couple hours I was quite please with my doctoring of initially mediocre photographs.
From the Guinness building. Took this on a class trip while perusing the history of the Guinness brewery through all of the visitor centre’s 7 floors. There is such a thing as too much Guinness!
Model of the Guinness brewery and surroundings.
